Right NOW is what you have and what you will ever have.

Okay.
So my fortune cookie reads "Help! I'm being held prisoner in a chinese bakery!" Which is not exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted it to be something like " Believe in your dreams and they will come true" or maybe something like" Hold on to something you love in the times you hate". You get the idea.
      This funny incident got me thinking " When we know the power of steering our future lies in our own hands then why do we turn to things like Fortune cookies, Tarot cards, tea leaves?"
(Yes I believe in the SECRET of the universe fulfilling everyhtng we truly and really wish for.)

This question remains unanswered.
Is it because we WISH feverently that the future must bring something good, better, best for us?
OR
We want to save ourselves from a potential debacle in the future?
If you pay attention to what we're actually talking about in here you'll see that we've completely missed the present tense.
We've ignored our present, getting consumed by the future.
It's true that the fututre consumes everyone's present but, I'm sure THIS is not the way it's supposed to work.
The future becomes the present too.
But then again, THIS is not how it works.

All I ask YOU to do is stop worrying about what the future is going to bring. (I know very well that THIS is the toughest thing to do.)
Focus on the present.
Take in EACH breath with full meaning, vitality and awareness.
Know what you're doing RIGHT NOW.
AT THIS MOMENT.
Understand what you're feeling at this moment.
Are you bored? Do you feel thirsty? Do you think you have some food for thought?
Do you want to go out for a while?
Do you wish to talk to somebody you haven't talked to in a while?

THAT'S the whole essence of living in the present.
Doing things that you WANT to do.
Fullfilling you personal goals.
Loving the people who love you.
Believing in yourself.
Knowing that you have the power to light up your life.( Rally doesn't matter what phase of life you're in, there're still going to be LOTS of things you want to do.)
Laughing out loud.
Cooking something that you've wanted to eat for a long time.
Doing something special for your loved ones JUST to show how much you care.
THIS is what I'm talking about.

After all,
THE PRESENT IS THE FUTURE IS THE PRESENT.
Just a little something to think about.
